They said my screen test (for King Kong) was skin and bones. I'm 5 feet 8 inches tall and only weighed 105 pounds then. Dino said, 'Nobody's interested in seeing skin and bones on the screen,' so I gained 25 pounds.
Even though I'm five feet eight, I'm still too short, and my features are too irregular; I was just not top model quality.
