Avan first became well-known when he played Danny Araujo in the historical TV movie A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story, which aired in 2006. After moving to the United States in his late teens, he got parts on TV shows like Caprica, Victorious, Twisted, and the drama Tut.
In 2010, Avan Jogia acted in his first movie in Hollywood. It was called Triple Dog. His first TV show, “Aliens in America,” aired three years before this. In 2013, he became well-known for his part as Danny Desai in the TV show Twisted. Johnny & Clyde, his most recent movie, came out in 2023. He has been in 43 Hollywood movies and TV shows.
Avan is an actor, but he also helped to start the LGBT online organisation. This group tries to change the way teens and adults think about issues in the LGBT community.
